Introduction

The Adventure is the core gameplay mode in Nine Chronicles and the foundation of the in-game economy. Players face fierce opponents throughout the stages of the five available worlds. The Campaign currently consists of 400 unique stages and players have to fight through each of them to reach the end of the Nine Chronicles world!

The Nine Worlds

Each world in the Nine Chronicles realm contains 50 stages. The 50th Stage of each World contains the Boss of the world and poses a significant challenge for the players. As of now, these are the available worlds in Nine Chronicles:

World 1-3 (Yggdrasil, Alfheim, Svartalfheim) : These are the early game stages, designed to allow players to progress smoothly. Adjustments have been made to monster specs and reduced required cooking specs to provide an experience where players gradually become stronger through equipment crafting and usage.

World 4-7 (Asgard, Muspelheim, Jotunheim, Niflheim) : Each world offers unique monsters and stages, requiring various strategies and equipment to clear. From this point, clearly stronger equipment and skills are needed.

World 8 (Helheim) : This world is themed around Hel, the goddess of death from Asgard. The strongest equipment tier, Sacred Tier has been introduced, along with various updates including new skills, ATK, and SPD foods.

Future content after World 9 will include cyclical content, an item compendium, costume and pet growth systems, providing a more diverse experience.

Entering Stage

Players enter various stages in Adventure mode. Each stage features different monsters and challenges, and clearing these stages rewards players with experience points and various other rewards based on their progression.

While it will be described in more detail in Actions and Transactions, it is necessary to briefly explain the main energy mechanism of The Adventure. To enter any stage, players have to spend Action Points. Every stage fight requires 5 Action Points. Once players deplete their action points by entering the stages, they can refresh their Action Points and continue battling by using the Prosperity Meter. The Prosperity Meter refreshes every 1700 blocks or approximately 4.5 hours. Alternatively, players can refresh their Action Points by using Action Points Potions at any time.

Battle

Battles are automated, but strategic preparation is crucial during the pre-battle phase. Players earn experience points by defeating enemies and clearing stages. Each stage is divided into three waves, with rewards (including EXP) given at each phase - achieving one star in the initial phase grants EXP.

The stages get progressively more difficult as players pass through the different worlds and more complex strategies have to be devised to be able to challenge them. The number and traits of enemies vary between the stages, and the elements and attacks of the enemies differ between the different worlds.

By winning against enemies in the campaign stages, players are rewarded with materials that are used to craft valuable items. As they defeat harder opponents and progress through the stages, they are rewarded with more valuable materials and are able to create stronger items while increasing the strength of their character. Players can find information on what Materials will be rewarded on the Information page of the Adventure stages.

Sweep & Repeat

After clearing a stage, players can use the repeat function to continuously challenge the same stage to gain additional EXP and rewards. This auto-repeat feature allows for efficient farming of Exp and material items.
