Custom Equipment Adjustments
Introduction of MAX Values for Custom Equipment with Damage Reduction Based on HIT Count
Damage reduction capped at a maximum of 30%.
This restriction applies only to custom equipment. When both custom equipment and the Golden Leaf Rune are equipped, damage reduction can function up to a maximum of 81%.
Additional adjustments are being made to address other potential issues. Soon, overall Min and Max values will be implemented, and this process will be carried out in consultation with the community.
For the next release, version 200260, we are working with the development team to evaluate whether it can function as originally described. We will provide a detailed explanation regarding the adjustments and changes.

World Boss Reward Improvements
After the World Boss season ends, rewards based on ranking will now include Golden Dust and AP Potions.
Players ranked 1-100 will receive Golden Dust and AP Potions in addition to Rune Shards and Crystals, with amounts depending on the rank group.
Detailed quantities can be viewed in the World Boss rewards tab in the game.
The reward runes for the World Bosses Fenrir and Jerminir will be replaced.
The old runes can still be acquired through Summon - Rune Summon and traded via the shop on the PC version.
The new runes consist of Legendary skill runes and Unique/Epic stat runes.
We hope to continue managing content value by regularly replacing reward runes through seasonal changes, in collaboration with the community.
World Boss Rune Replacement and First Clear Reward Enhancements
Three Adventure Boss reward runes have been replaced.
The previous CRI, HIT, and SPD runes have been swapped with HP, ATK, and DEF runes.
HP runes are now included in operational reward runes, while ATK and DEF runes are rewards for participation.
The old rune shards can be traded via the shop on the PC version.
We aim to continue managing content value by regularly replacing reward runes through seasonal changes in collaboration with the community.
First Clear Rewards for Adventure Bosses have been enhanced.
The rewards for each floor have been changed from HIT/SPD runes to ATK/DEF runes.
The number of hammers rewarded for each floor has been increased by 50-100%.
New Rune Added to Monster Collection (Thor - Golden Seed Rune)
A new reward, the Thor - Golden Seed Rune, has been added to Monster Collection.
Available for players staking 5,000 or more.
This stat rune of divine grade will be beneficial for those conducting NCG staking.
Migration Guidance Enhancement
New rewards have been added again, allowing you to obtain the new rune shards after migrating the Monster Collection.
In response to previous feedback where many adventurers suffered due to insufficient guidance about migration, this time, guidance has been strengthened.
When migration is available, a popup will appear in the gameβs staking menu to guide players through the process.
After migrating, rewards will be granted according to the latest reward table.
Please note that when migrating, the start point for calculating the interval for receiving rewards and adjusting contracts will be updated.
Pet Balance Adjustments and Eight New Variation Pets Added
Pet Balance Adjustments
The performance of four existing pets (Black Cat, Red Donguri, Valkyrie, Little Fenrir) has been improved.
Depending on the pet type and level, their abilities have been increased by 20-80%.

Eight New Pets Added
Eight new pets with appearances similar to existing pets have been added.
With the upgrade from 4 to 8 crafting slots, we hope you enjoy crafting with various pets across multiple slots.
The UI for using pets during crafting has been updated to accommodate the new additions.
The new pets can be unlocked and enhanced using the same soul stones as existing pets.
Collection Balance Adjustments and New Additions
To enhance the value of the collection system, new collections with lower entry barriers for Worlds 1-7 have been added, along with strengthened rewards for existing collections and new collections for summons and new foods.
73 New Collections Added
35 new collections for zero-strength equipment (with no skill) from Worlds 1-7 have been added.
36 new collections for Grimoire equipment have been added.
Two new collections for Golden Steak food have been added.
Balance Adjustments for 44 Existing Collections
Rewards for 35 collections for zero-strength equipment (with skills) from Worlds 1-7 have been significantly increased.
Rewards for nine collections for AP Potions, Hourglasses, and Silver Dust have been greatly improved.
Collection Sorting Order Changed
To make it easier to check collections for future progress, completed collections have been moved to the bottom.
Newly added collections will now appear at the top for easy identification.
November Season Pass
The Collection Master Pass, commemorating November's collections, will begin.

Custom Equipment Crafting System Added
A new custom equipment system that uses new materials, Scrolls and Circles, has been added.
This menu unlocks after clearing Stage 301.
You can craft three types of items: Weapons, Necklaces, and Rings.
You can choose your desired appearance from a variety of options, and each time, the stats and skills will be randomly generated.
Every time you craft, your relationship will increase by 1. As your relationship increases, youβll be able to craft equipment with more diverse appearances and stronger stats.
Materials Acquisition
Scrolls can be obtained through Monster Collection item rewards and custom equipment grinding.
Circles can be obtained from Adventure Boss, World Boss rewards, and custom equipment grinding.

Monster Collection Rewards Added
A new material, Scrolls, for custom equipment crafting has been added to the Monster Collection rewards.
Available from the 500 NCG range and above.
To receive this reward, you need to migrate to the new Monster Collection contract.
October Event
Throughout October, various rewards will be added to patrol rewards to help you enjoy more adventurous gameplay.
To support growth through equipment crafting, the block cost required for world equipment crafting will be reduced by 20% throughout October.

World Boss Improvements
We are preparing long-term improvements for the World Boss system. The details of these changes will be decided and implemented in collaboration with the community through NCIP. Please stay tuned.
Ahead of these long-term adjustments, we have made short-term changes to enhance the World Boss specs and adjust the percentage of players who can achieve the highest rank.
The stat balance of the 6 Runes (3 Fenrir, 3 Saehrimnir) from the World Boss has been adjusted. Only the stats have been increased, with no changes to skill effects.
September Event
The returning Crystal Equipment Event will allow you to embark on your adventures with more crystals than before.
Additionally, throughout September, the Patrol Reward System will offer various rewards to help you continue your exciting adventures.

A system has been added where you can use hammers obtained from Adventure Bosses to add experience during item upgrades.
Hammers can be used to enhance weapons, armor, belts, necklaces, and rings.
August Event
The event dungeon 'Citrus Carnival,' which will run throughout August, is now open.
In this dungeon, you can obtain Golden Dust, event-exclusive food, and event medals.

The sorting of the material selection part during enhancement has been improved for practical use.
The sorting order of the material tab has been changed so that hammers can be immediately checked after AP Potions, Hourglasses, and Dusts at the top.
By default, the first sorting is in descending order of rarity, and items of the same rarity are displayed in descending order of CP.
Adventure Boss Improvements
A function to display summary information of the last season during the season progress and the waiting time for the next season has been added.

Adventure Boss System Added
The Adventure Boss System has been added.
Players can become operating users with NCG and receive rewards such as Golden, Ruby, or Emerald Dust, as well as new Critical Rune stones.
Participate in raids using AP Potions and receive rewards like hammers, NCG, dust, and new rune stones.
One random player among the participants will receive 5% of the total operating amount in NCG as a reward.
Participants will share 15% of the operating amount in NCG based on their contribution.
The timing of the Adventure Boss opening is determined by the decentralized participation of players and must be defeated within 4 hours of opening. Once the season ends, it can be reopened after 10,800 blocks.

Grimoire Equipment and Summoning System Added
Grimoire equipment, which can be summoned using Emerald Dust, has been added.
The equipment obtained from summoning is non-tradable by default.
A total of 36 types of equipment have been added, comprising 3 skill types, 4 grade levels, and 3 sub-stats.
Grimoire equipment can be equipped in the newly added Grimoire equipment slot.
Emerald Dust can be obtained as operational rewards and raid rewards in the Adventure Boss System.
Game Improvements
Equipment Crafting Balance Changes
The crafting experience for Epic, Unique, Legendary, and Sacred grade equipment has been greatly improved.
The crafting cost for premium recipes has been significantly reduced.
The amount of materials required and the waiting blocks generated during crafting have been greatly decreased.
The chance of attaching skills to equipment has been greatly increased.
The amount of crystals needed to unlock recipes has been drastically reduced.
The NCG required to enhance Normal, Rare, Epic, and Unique grade equipment has been reduced by 50%.
Stage Balance Changes
The stats of monsters in Worlds 6, 7, and 8 have been significantly decreased.
Change in World Boss Ranking Calculation Method
To ensure a consistent experience in ranking methods, the World Boss ranking calculation method has been changed to an arena-style system where ties are ranked lower.
The current issue of multiple ties at the S grade level, leading to a lack of distinction in rankings, will be addressed in collaboration with the community this quarter.

New collections have been added, including the newly introduced Emerald Dust and the June Season Pass title-related collections.

Improved food usage UX:
In the inventory, food with the same ID will no longer be displayed individually. Instead, the quantity will be shown to make it easier to use and check.
In the PC version of the shop, the UX has been improved to allow multiple food items with the same ID to be listed for sale at once.

Ruby Summon Update
Ruby Aura and Ruby Rune summon using Ruby Dust has been added.

New Auras and Runes Added
Three new Ymir Auras, including a Sacred grade, have been added.
Ymir Auras can be obtained in three grades: Unique, Legendary, and Sacred.

Two new Sacred grade Odin Runes have been added.
These runes, along with future Sacred grade rune shards, will have the untradable attribute.

June Event
Golden Dust and AP Potions have been added to the reward items for patrol rewards.
The waiting block required for new equipment craft is reduced by 30%.

Ruby Guardian Pass Update
The Ruby Guardian Pass, which allows you to obtain the Ruby Guardian title, has been released.

Rune Level Bonus System Update
A Rune Level Bonus system has been updated, which applies a stat bonus to equipped runes based on the total level of all runes.

Crystal Equipment Material Drop Event
During the event period, stages 150, 200, 250, and 300 will drop crystal equipment materials instead of usual materials.
Use these materials to craft crystal equipment and grind to obtain crystals, which will be a great help on your future adventures.

Season Pass Rune Master (May 2024) Update
A season pass that allows you to obtain the title of Rune Master has been updated.

Collection System Update
A collection system has been added that allows players to gather equipment, food, costumes, titles, and materials to acquire Stats.
The stats obtained through this system include two types: the existing + stats and the % stats, which are being added for the first time.
% stats are calculated in combination with existing skill buffs, applying the percentage after summing all + stats.
CDMG is an abbreviation for Critical Damage, a stat that increases the additional damage dealt on a critical hit.
Monster Collection In-Game Start, Change, and Claim Feature Added
The functionality to start Monster Collection, change amounts, and claim rewards, which was previously only possible through the PC version launcher, has been made available in-game for players.
As a result, users who do not use the PC version can also receive various rewards through the Monster Collection.
Monster Collection Ruby Dust Reward Added
Ruby Dust, used in the collection, has been added as a reward for the Monster Collection.
Plans are in place to provide various uses for this material item in the future.
SPD Related Combat Processing Change
The display of stats owned by players has been changed to not use decimals.
In arenas, world bosses, and stages, the processing of speed after using a skill, which was previously treated the same as attacks, has been changed. Now, when a skill is used, the SPD value is recalculated by multiplying by 0.9 instead of 0.6. Through these changes, the probability of taking another turn after using a skill has significantly increased.
This change aims to reduce the cost of using skills, thereby increasing the value of skill equipment and emphasizing the diversity of combat strategy with skill use going forward.

Golden Rune Summon
Rune stones can now be summoned using Golden Dust in Workshop - Summon.

Multiplanetary: Introducing a new network system
The existing Nine Chronicles mainnet had limitations on the total transaction volume it could handle. Also, due to the accumulated play records over the past few years, there were difficulties in competing in the new system. To overcome these issues, we are introducing Multiplanetary, which supports more than two networks.
The play records of the existing mainnet will be named Odin and can be played as before.
With the introduction of the Multiplanetary system, a new network named Heimdall will be launched.

Balance adjustment

Improvement of the Equipment Item Upgrade Method
Each Equipment Item has an initial experience based on its grade and crafting cost.
Reinforcing the same kind of items with materials increases the experience value.
If the experience value is higher than the value for a particular level, it becomes that level.
Items of the same class and type have the same experience required to raise the level.
As the level goes up, the stat number that increases is the same as before.
Upgrades beyond level 4 consume the same NCG regardless of grade.
Existing reinforced items are calculated to have the required experience to achieve the same level of reinforcement.
